Stats Machine stores all data locally on your device. Nothing is ever sent to any server, third party, or external service.

What we collect

Stats Machine collects the following data locally on your device to provide its core functionality:

We do not collect: your name, email, location, financial data, passwords, personal messages, or any other personally identifiable information.

How data is stored

All data is stored exclusively in chrome.storage.local — a sandboxed storage area on your own device managed by Chrome. This data:

Permissions explained

Stats Machine requests the following Chrome permissions, each used solely for the extension's core tracking functionality:

Data retention & deletion

Stats Machine keeps up to 90 days of browsing history on your device. You can delete all stored data at any time by clicking Clear all data inside the extension's Settings tab. Uninstalling the extension also removes all locally stored data.

Children's privacy

Stats Machine does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13. The extension has no accounts, no sign-up, and no communication features.

Changes to this policy

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we will update the date above. Because no data leaves your device, no retroactive changes to data handling are possible.
